Q: What kinds of services do you provide and what can I expect?
Highland Hills Pet Sitting is a small, local service on Portland's westside. We provide pet sitting, dog walking, and/or total cat care services. Included in our service are additional home security measures which serve to deter possible criminal attention when you're away.
I will come to your home and make sure that your pets are well cared for, according to your wishes and particular instructions. Your pets are comfortable in their own home surrounded by all that is familiar and comforting to them while you are away.
Q: How can I get to know you, and decide for myself that my
pets are comfortable with you?
Our initial meeting is free. When you contact me, either by email, phone or through this website, I will return your inquiry within 24 hours and set up a time that's best to meet with you and your pets.
At that time, I will introduce myself to your pets and familiarize you with all that is needed to ensure your peace of mind, while you're traveling, working late, or on vacation.
Q: What insurances do you provide for my pets and home?
Highland HIlls Pet Sitting
is covered by a top A-rated commercial liability insurance policy and 'dishonesty bond' which protects your home and your
pets in your absence. We will be happy to show you a copy of this policy, and explain in detail the coverage it represents at our first meeting.
Q: How do I pay you and when?
Based upon the terms of your service contract, established at our initial meeting, and upon mutual agreement that our service meets your needs, a fee will be determined. This fee is based upon the number of pets, and your choice of services and visit options (see our Rates and Services
Payment is due on or before the first scheduled visit to your home to take care of your pets, and may be made in the form of a check,
or cash (receipt provided) with a 5% discount, upon request. Pay Pal is also an option, by request. Repeat clients to Highland Hills Pet Sitting receive occasional 'gifts' in appreciation for making us their
preferred source for taking special care of their pets and their homes.
Q: What is the Referral ‘Gift’ Program and how does it apply?
Highland Hills Pet Sitting understands that our happy clients (and their pets) are the best reference for the kind of business we like to generate. We value the new relationships developed along the way, and the best way to grow our business is through word-of-mouth referrals from our happy customers. As a way of saying ‘Thanks!’ we will provide a free pet sit, as our gift to you, for your sharing your positive experience with others.
Whenever you, as our client, tell a friend, co-worker or relative about us, and we welcome aboard another customer, we will ‘gift’ you with a free pet sit visit, at your convenience.
